Dear Friend,
As a resident of the Jewish community of Pudong, you personally have witnessed the growth of our community and our programs. The news of this year is that Chabad Pudong moved into a new spacious place to accommodate our Synagogue, Hebrew School, and a variety of family activities and events.
In this past year, our center has housed over 100 participants during the high holidays; we’ve experienced Shabbat services together with up to 80 community members, and celebrated Bat Mitzva’s with up to 140 people. The new location serves as a home for all the Jewish needs in town. Of course with an added expansion comes an added expense. The rental payments are now over ¥400,000 annually!
As we entered 2011, we turn to you once again for our annual partnership fund campaign, with the fundraising goal 240,000 RMB. Your contribution will enable us to provide a house of worship for your family and allow us to concentrate our efforts on ensuring that we can continue and increase programming for the Pudong Jewish community.
Partnership opportunities include your choice of an annual contribution of:
- Partner - 4,000 RMB (333 RMB per month)
- Silver Partners - 8,000 RMB (666 RMB per month)
- Gold Partners - 12,000 RMB (1,000 MRB per month)
- Sponsor – 42,000 RMB (3,500 RMB per month) - includes your name on the dedication wall of the Pudong Jewish Center
Your pledge can be paid monthly or in another schedule of payments, as per your convenience.
